A Starter Kit is a frozen food package consisting of all the ingredients you need to make a crockpot recipe, minus the meat and occasionally another ingredient (like cheese). Thaw your kit, add your protein, cook according to directions, and serve!

We are located in Boerne, Texas. We do not ship/deliver, so you must be in Boerne or within driving distance to pick up your purchase.

Your order will be available for pickup 2-5 days after purchase at the Low and Slow To Go Headquarters. Pickup days are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7AM-7PM. You will receive an email letting you know when your order is available for pickup.

No, the Starter Kit needs to be thawed and cooked according to package directions. Once thawed, use Starter Kit immediately.

Most but not all ingredients are organic. You can find all ingredients listed on the Starter Kit Label.

We make our own spice mixes and soup bases in order to keep the meals as clean as possible.

No, some of the recipes can be expedited by cooking on the stove top, however it is my recommendation to always follow the package directions to ensure the highest possible quality of your meal.

All ingredients are listed along with Allergy Warnings on the label. If you have checked and you’re still unsure, please send us an email with your inquiry before consuming.

There is a designated ‘What You Need’ section located on your Starter Kit label which lists the items and quantities you will need to complete the recipe. You can also find ‘What You Need’ under the product description on the website.

Yes, all Starter Kits are prepared in a commercial kitchen facility regularly inspected by the Kendall County Health Inspector. Feel free to reach out to us via email with questions or concerns. Food Safety is a huge priority at Low and Slow To Go, which is why all preparation is overseen by a Certified Food Manager.
